FAQ's

Subscription dues are just like a magazine subscription. It gives you 365 days of membership in the VFW. With this being the first year that they are coming into effect it will be a process that we are not use to. The basic breakdown of what is going to happen is:

If you are an annual member and you pay your dues before Jan your expiration will be THE FOLLOWING JANUARY. If you pay after that date whatever day your dues are processed at National will be the new expiration date. Example would be that you send in your dues to National on 1 Feb 2017 and National processed them on the 15 Feb. Your new expiration date would be 15 Feb 2018.

Annual membership Dues $45 and due on the anniversary of the date you joined the VFW or the date of annual renewal.



The Fire Marshall Capacity caps out at 250 people.  
 
All guests of the rental hall party, should park near the front of the building closest to the Memorial Walk.  The back half of the parking lot from the first parking spot next to the building to the rear is for our members and guests.
 
No OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are allowed inside the Rental Hall.  We have a Canteen that we can open to where rental party guests can come over to buy their alcoholic beverages.
 
ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER OR CONFETTI May be Used inside the Rental Hall at any time!

Currently our Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 12 am
 
Saturdays from 12 pm - 12 am
 
Sundays from 12 pm - 9 pm

Our Business Meetings are on the First Tuesday of every month.
 
Auxiliary Meets at 7 pm
Comrades Meet at 7:30 pm
 
We have a Steak Night every 3rd Friday of the month.
 
Steak Night includes an 8 oz ribeye (cooked to order), baked potato (with sour cream/butter), salad with your choice of (Italian, Ranch, Blue Cheese, or Thousand Island Dressing), and a dessert.
 
Costs is $20.00/person and families are welcomed to join us!
 
Every Friday night we have karaoke with Open Pool!
 
Wednesdays/Fridays/Saturdays we have Karaoke that starts at 8 pm
 
We have Shag every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursdays of the month and on every Friday starting at 6 pm.
 
Pool League is at the Post every Monday and Thursday nights starting at 7 pm.
 

Yes, civilians are always welcomed at our Post and we would love to have you come out and see us and have a good time.  The only thing we ask is that you please sign in when you arrive.  Otherwise, COME ON OUT!

If you are wanting to rent our hall, you must contact our Canteen Manager Raina Bryant at
803-359-8738 or 803-422-0119 so she can tell you if the hall is available on the day that you are wishing to rent it.  She will also be the one you will sign the contract with, and she will discuss all of the rules as it pertains to the Hall Rental.
