Darren Wiseman
Commander - Air Force

Darren entered the United States Air Force in 1996 and completed Munitions Systems training at
Sheppard AFB, Texas. Following technical training, Darren was stationed at Shaw AFB, SC and later Osan, AB, ROK and once again at Shaw, AFB SC at which point he separated from active duty. Darren later joined the South Carolina Air National Guard where he currently holds the rank of Master Sergeant and serves as the Chief of Munitions Production where he is responsible for approximately 55 Airmen that provide serviceable combat munitions to the SCANG’s F-16 fighter aircraft. While serving in the U.S. Air Force and the South Carolina Air National Guard, Darren has held positions including Munitions Accountable Systems Officer, Chief of Munitions Systems, Chief of Munitions Material, NCOIC of Munitions Operations, NCOIC of Conventional Munitions, Munitions Crew Chief, Munitions Controller and Senior Munitions Controller.
 
Darren has multiple overseas deployments that include Afghanistan, Jordan, Republic of South Korea twice and Al Jaber, Kuwait; supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Freedom Sentinel and various Theater Support Packages in the INDOPACOM region.
 
Darren is a retired law enforcement officer having served as a Patrol Deputy, K-9 Deputy, Resident
Deputy, Patrol Sergeant and Detective Sergeant.
 
Darren is a Life Member of Post 8738 in Lexington and currently serves as the Senior Vice Commander.
 
Darren has held post positions including Junior Vice Commander, House Committee Chairman,
VoD/PP/Teacher of the Year Chairman and Public Safety Awards Chairman.
